HoundsFund Update
We are so excited to fill you in - We are 74% complete!
As an independent school, each student who attends Notre Dame benefits from the support of our community. Our annual giving campaign, the HoundsFund, is an important source of financial support for student bursaries, special projects, and many extras that make our academic, athletic and leadership programs unique! Thanks for all of your support towards the 2017-2018 HoundsFund thus far, this is what we have been able to accomplish:
Raised to date: $553,500 of the $750,000 goal!
Of that, participation has come from several areas including alumni, current and past families, staff members, Board of Regent Members and friends of the college.
Right now, we have 157 days left in this campaign and we still need to raise $197,000 of the $750,000 goal that allows us to offer resources such as the Guided Learning Centre, specialized coaching for our athletes, upgrades in the dorms, increased student activity programming and weekly leadership programming to name a few.
Specific projects we are still looking to fund this year include a new Satellite TV system with Shaw Direct within each of the residences and the PAC. This $2,000 investment would cover the cost of the equipment, receivers and installation. It would be a nice benefit for students and staff in the residence to be able to turn on the game and connect after a busy week over Hockey Night in Canada.
